the Peace Garden at Knox-Met is the result of a partnership between Knox-Met United Church and PeaceQuest Regina.
Every year, since the establishment of the Peace Garden in the spring of 2015, there has been a Blessing of the Peace Garden held in the later summer or early fall when the garden is at its very best.
This year, the Blessing of the Peace Garden will be held on SUNDAY OCTOBER 4. 11:30 am, in the garden on the Victoria Avenue side of the church. The program should last no more that 20 minutes.
Gardens and peace and justice go together. As Victor Cicansky put it, one of the things we badly need in this world is “a pitchfork revolution”!
